dice: a grandes males, grandes remedios.

Let’s face Dominican issues now!
The second attempt of perpetual permanence in power since the death of Trujillo, is in the process of consolidation: Leonel Fernandez, Danilo Medina and an important part of the LDP are working in that direction.
The first attempt it headed Joaquín Balaguer, who used the created majority to rule unopposed so that had to be confronted in a determined and courageous manner by Dominican Revolutionary Party (PRD) who headed the great confluence of national forces and friendly political forces at the international level.
Pepín Corripio is a philosopher with lapidary sentences and phrases that I always pay great attention.
One of those wise reflections teaches: faces problems when they are small, the solutions will be proportional, if the problems are left to grow, the solution will be much more difficult. Perhaps it is a way of Mr. Corripio explains the phrase that says: to great evils great remedies.
Nobody thought that Trujillo intended to repeat the unrewarding experience that the country was subjected by the tyrant (Lilís) Ulises Heureaux.
When the time came, men and peoples must decide if they accept the impositions of parties, men and groups of thugs or if they decide on the rough road to enforce unrestricted fair laws, created with democratic spirit and in order that all may be governed by the same yardstick of the authorities.
No matter that in a moment in the life of peoples a temporary blindness, fruit of a deceptive glow, allow you to create instances of power that confusing to those who hold them to act without respect for the democratic rights of the majority. The arrogance of believing that it has the power forever can create blindness to the reality that the person or group acts as an elephant in a close glassmaking.
Trujillo never thought that the judge who declared illegal the electoral results of 1930, Bachelor Heriberto Núñez, would survive the long years of prison and persecution to which he put. Bachelor Núñez lived many years after the death of the tyrant.
In the interesting "Habit of Power" series, the Mexican Luis Spota raises a cycle that repeats itself unfortunately: fight against tyranny, overthrow of the dictatorship, provisional Government, constitutional Government, excessive ambitions to help cracked the democratic will of the movement, overthrow of tyranny and back to start.
With all Superior Courts, the Congress, the Chamber of Auditors, the guard and the national police, is thought to repeat to Lilís, Trujillo, which can only be achieved if the people acts as the shrimp and takes the anti-democratic tide.
Do not let the problem becomes large, let’s face it now!
